HMCS REGINA

A NIGHT ABOARD THE HMCS REGINA

Wow!  What a night!  It was our privilege to spend a beautiful night aboard the HMCS Regina at Naval Base San Diego.  The base is the principal homeport of the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Fleet.  Canadian and American Sailors all enjoyed a wonderful reception to honor Veterans Day. This Little Piggy Went to Market was lucky enough to be invited onto the Halifax-class warship by the Consulate of Canada in Los Angeles.  Speakers highlighted the close relationship between the two countries Navy’s and the importance of that relationship.   Commander Collin Mathews, HMCS Regina, Pacific Fleet Commanding Officer, Captain Roy Love, U.S. Navy and Consul & Senior Trade Commissioner at the Consulate of Canada in Los Angeles, Patricia Elliot all spoke at the reception.

A Taste of Home This Little Piggy Went to Market was proud to donate Premium Canadian Peameal Bacon to give the crew of 240 a little taste of home.
